The Spyker C8 Laviolette is a sports car produced by the Dutch automaker Spyker-Cars. The Spyker C8 Laviolette has the 4 hundred PS ( 290 kW ) Audi engine but unlike most models that come with either a soft or a hard top but the Spyker C8 Laviolette has a glass canopy.

Spyker-company has had a heap of problems over the years not remotely connected to the current "Car Woes". It has basically struggled to finance what it has been doing. A horrible flirtation with F1 cost it dear, and it simply struggled to function and get cars out.

But those problems faded last year when Spyker Company got solid investment from a Russian banker. Which means Spyker Company can once more push forward after a period of struggle. Although what impact the crisis engulfing the car market in general will have is anybody�s guess.

Spyker Company is having problems with the engine choice. Originally scheduled to have a V12, it's now clear that it will not be the Spyker D12 at all with a V8 instead. But this project will happen (the Russian investor apparently invested because he fell in love with the D12).
