The engine V8 of the Audi R8 GT3 develops more than 5 hundred HP because the regulations don't allow AWD, so the power goes to rear wheels through a 6 speed sequential gearbox. The car weighs 1300kg, a full 300kg lighter than the production R8.
Other thing of the Audi R8 GT3 is that inside and out and everywhere you look the carbon-fiber is there!!!The body has been revised with an aerodynamic in mind and also a huge rear wing is added for extra downforce. The suspension is barely changed but re tuned for track use. Big ceramic brakes are also there.
