The Ford Falcon EcoLPi is leading the charge for a potential resurgence in the large car segment. With better performance than its petrol equivalent significantly lower running costs and a marginal price increase. There's hardly any real reason not to opt for the Ford Falcon EcoLPi.
The segment of the Ford Falcon has been punished by the ever increasing price of fuel and the changing perception that bigger is not necessarily better.
Less torque, less power and limited bootspace has kept this amazing car sales to just 25 percent of overall volume despite their improved fuel economy.

The new dedicated LPI system has 5 thousand RPM and 4 hundred Nm that is about 3.250 rpm which represents a 27 percent increase in power and 10 perecent increase in torque over the Ford Falcon e gas it replaces.

What that means is that for the 1st time in the Ford Falcon LPG history the alternate fuel is now producing the same amount of power and torque as the standard I6 petrol so it costs significantly less to run. Not only has performance gone up, but fuel economy has also come down to 12,5 L /100 km from 14,9 L /100km.
