The 2011 GMC Yukon offers power, space and towing capacity. This model gets minor upgrades including revised headrests and OnStar version 9.0. The 2011 GMC Yukon lineup was completely redesigned for 2007.

Inside the 2011 GMC Yukon features a simple and an elegant dash that hints aspirations for a luxury status. The Yukon has 3 row seating standard and can be configured for 2 to 9 occupants. Seating in the 1st and 2nd rows have plenty of room but the 3rd row is best left for kids and has to be removed for maximum cargo space.

 

The interior of the 2011 GMC is clean and uncluttered. The instrument panel and center stack would look right at home in a luxury SUV. The Denali is richer still with a wood and leather wrapped steering wheel and darker wood trim than the other models.

The fit between panels and coverings is impressive with tight tolerances. Less impressive is the finish of some of the hard plastic surfaces which look better than they feel, lighter colour interiors convey the 2011 GMC Yukon to look much better than the dark colors. The headliner is a woven fabric that looks and feels like mouse fur.

The design of the Yukon's dash gives the driver an expansive view out the windshield, adding to the feeling of being above it all.

The choices of the engine of the 2011 GMC Yukon are all V8's. The 3 hundred and 20 horsepower, 5,3 liters and Denali's 4 hundred and 3 horsepower 6,2 liters, both have a system that shuts down half the cylinders under light loads to improve fuel economy.
