The fenders are punched out from the hood in a pronounced crease that travels the length of the car making the Volvo XC90 to look longer and meaner than it is.

The rear end of Volvo XC90 resembles that of Volvo �s impregnable station wagons with tail lamps, all the way up the C pillar, terminating only at the roof of the car. It is a nifty and singular look.
The overall shape of the lamps is the same, but the housings are slightly different.
The Volvo XC90 is nearly identical to the top of the line 6 cylinder model. There is room for adults of most any size in the 2 front buckets and the split 2nd row bench. 2 average size adults could squeeze into the 3rd row for short journeys but that space is basically for kids.

The cargo space behind the 3rd seat is ample for grocery runs and perhaps weekend journeys. Push forward the 3rd and 2nd row seatbacks.
A special new feature is an optional entertainment center with dual screens behind the front seats that can beoperated as separate systems.
