
Porsche 914 is a mid engined sport car manufactured from 1969 to 1976. The car was intended to be sold as a 4 cylinder engined Volkswagen replacement to its Karmann Ghia and as a flat 6 cylinders engined successor to the 912 Porsches. Both versions were badged and marketed as Porsches in the US.

The Volkswagen variant originally featured an 80 horse power, fuel injected 1,7 L flat four engine which was based on the Volkswagen air cooled motor. Porsche 914 was powered with a carbureted 110 horse power, 2,0 L flat six engine.

It was replaced though in 1973 by a model sporting a 95 horse power, 2,0 L fuel injected version of the Volkswagen Type four engine.

The interior of the Porsche 914 has been prepared in accordance with the style of Porsches. Tachometer was placed in the middle fuel level indicator and a tachometer. Steering is reminiscent of the Porsches 911.

Buyers can choose the interior colors of the 11 options at the start of production to fifteen in the final stage. Accessory pack was quite big because you could buy such fog lights, leather steering wheel and horn. Each piece of the Porsche 914 has a targa type body without longitudinal bracket.
